Loving Cape Town Kids” was established to provide hope for the future through early childhood education and care to the community of Imizamo Yethu in Hout Bay.

Over the last 13 years the school has grown X thanks to the generosity of our sponsors. It was completed in 2012 and now consists of 11 classrooms, 17 toilets, a well-equipped kitchen, covered veranda and a large playground.

It provides childcare and pre-school education for 250 underprivileged children aged from 10 months to 6 years old. The young ones are cared for in a loving way, are taught Christian values, the English language and hygiene, along with being provided with a balanced nutritional diet.

After the school the volunteers work at an after care centre which was founded in 2004 and has since then been steadily growing caring for over 90 children.

We work to ensure that family units remain strong under the strain of illness and poverty and to support communities in caring for their orphaned and vulnerable children.
